Curious, Critical, Compassionate
Adishi is passionate about building a more equitable world through strategic thinking and creative problem-solving in/with communities and stakeholders. She has worked in the social sector for over a decade in India and Canada, on issues including feminism and gender justice, sexuality and reproductive health and rights, psychosocial health and wellbeing and climate justice.
Throughout her academic and professional journeys, she has advocated for social justice, equity and anti-racism. Her education and experiences are deeply rooted in creating impactful educational and community engagement initiatives using creative, trauma-informed and justice-oriented approaches. She excels in simplifying complex ideas to make them accessible and actionable for a wide range of audiences.
With Roots & Rivers, Adishi brings this experience to working with community organizations, foundations, municipal governments, and professional associations on strategic planning, evaluation & research, and facilitation.
Outside of work, she enjoys books, parks, writing, cafes, and exploring her newfound love for collaging.
