Ry Hemingway is a disability justice and healthcare specialist with seven years of experience as a consultant and 15 years as a Registered Sign Language Interpreter. They are passionate about supporting, changing, and improving systems to make them more inclusive and adaptive. They bring their expertise in translation and interpretation theory, systems change, interdisciplinary research, and accessibility to their work with disability justice, healthcare, interpreting, and systems change.

With Roots & Rivers, Ry brings this experience to working with community organizations and advocacy groups on evaluation & research design and facilitation.

Outside of work, they love cycling (unicycle and biking), tabletop gaming, reading, and spending a whole afternoon strolling with a good audiobook or podcast.
