We chose to work with Roots & Rivers because we were looking for a team that understood our community.
They engaged directly with people from different backgrounds, hearing their stories and helping us to understand the lived experiences of newcomers in Burnaby and how important they are in services planning.
What we learned will have a big impact on our work and will help us bring new perspectives to the Burnaby Intercultural Planning Table. We hope to work together again.
